It’s been the work of a few years to catalogue my home library to professional bibliographic standards. I thoroughly appreciate open-source OPACs and ILSes such as Koha, but these are overkill for my purposes. And hey, wasn’t the whole point of this website to be minimalist and static? Why throw a heavy web application at it when static HTML will do? To that end I wrote a small Python script that converts MARC records to Markdown using a standard template, with the result that you can now search my library catalogue’s records using a search engine in the box below.
My collection includes not only a number of books that are hard to find but also archival collections. For any reference enquiries about items in the catalogue, please email me.
