Notes	The collection is open for research use. This collection consists of one letter from Ŝiraiŝi-Ŝigeo in Japan to Richard Pfütze in Germany and two letters from Isamu Niŝimura in Japan to Pfütze in Brazil. Ŝiraiŝi-Ŝigeo regretfully declines Pfütze’s request for Japanese literature translated into Esperanto. Niŝimura itemizes the costs of international travel from Japan, relays news of local cultural events, and discusses the translation of songs. He mentions sending postcards and photographs separately, but the only other material enclosed is a photograph of the Aoi Matsuri festival in Kyoto taken by Niŝimura. Isamu Niŝimura was an employee of the Doshisha Higher Commercial School in Kyoto.
