Notes | The collection is open for research use. This collection contains the personal papers of William Bayliss, an Englishman who was active in both the Esperanto and Christian international movements. The papers date from 1930 to 1950 and include Bayliss’s correspondence with Esperantists, Christians, and stamp-collectors in Europe and the United States, and his notebooks in which he wrote on the subjects of Christianity and folk costumes. The collection includes one printed item, a pamphlet on the subject of collecting stamps. pda housed 2025-04-09 Divided items into three series based on form. Postcards were housed in polypropylene sleves. Correspondence was ordered chronologically and other items alphabetically. |
