Notes | The collection is open for research use. This series contains postcards and letters sent to William Bayliss from correspondents in Europe and the United States. They discuss matters including the Second World War, which particularly affected one correspondent, Jaroslav Strnad, who was at one time interred in the Mauthausen concentration camp. With another correspondent, W. E. French, Bayliss exchanged letters concerning Christianity and Adolph Ernst Knoch’s Concordant Version of the Bible. Other letters consist of shorter notes exchanging stamps and postmarks from foreign countries. |
