| Notes | The collection is open for research use. This collection consists of a translation into Esperanto of Benjamin Constant’s “Le Cahier rouge”. The translation is handwritten in pencil on one side of the sheets of an unlined 86-sheet notepad. The end of the notepad brought the translator up to page 81 of 98 in the original 1907 edition of “Le Cahier rouge”, thus covering the bulk of the work, but ends there. The identity of the translator is not known, nor is whether the remainder of the translation exists elsewhere. This work does not appear to have been translated into Esperanto previously. pda housed 20250628 Metal spiral binding was removed, pages were numbered in pencil, and housed in an acid-free folder. |
